Central Reservations

• All reservations, cancellations and amendments are to be made with the reservations office at the hotel and confirmed in writing / via email or by facsimile. Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing and shall only be effective upon acknowledged receipt by Fairview Hotel; otherwise, cancellation charges shall apply as per EEC Travel policy.
• On receipt of our pro-forma invoice the onus is on the originator of the reservation to confirm the rates and any amendments are to be made with the reservations office at the hotel in writing, otherwise the hotel will take the details to be correct and billable to the originator as per the pro-forma invoice.
• Reservations – Non-account operators require a 50% deposit, 30 days prior to the arrival date, as well as a rooming list. Failure to comply will result in the provisional reservation being cancelled. The onus lies with the originator to forward proof of payment to the reservations office to secure the reservation.
• Companies with accounts – Payment strictly 30 days from the date of invoice, interest will be charged at 2% per month, compounded monthly for accounts not settled within 45 days of receipt of invoice.
• Fairview Hotel reserves the right to upgrade guests subject to availability at its own discretion.

Terms & Conditions

Fairview Hotel, Conference centre and Golf Estate reserves the right to adjust and change accommodation rates and prices with 30 day’s written notice of its intention to do so.

Cancellation policy as per EEC Travel Law:

• 29 - 22 days prior to arrival 10%
• 21 - 15 days prior to arrival 30%
• 14 - 7 days prior to arrival 50%
• 6 - 3 days prior to arrival 65%
• 3 - 1 day prior to arrival 80%

Rates include:

• Accommodation as per voucher / reservation
• 15 % South African Government Tax (VAT)

Rates exclude:

• Airport transfers to and from the hotel.
• Alcohol and beverages, curious shop purchases, telephone calls, laundry services.
• Internet café
• Excursions, fishing, and golfing

Children’s Rack Rates

Children between ages 2-11 years commissionable at normal commission rates

• Children under two years of age – free of charge
• Children between 2-11 years sharing with parents qualify as follows:
  • Fairview Hotel @ R350.00 Bed / Breakfast.
  • Regret - No children under 14 years can be accommodated at the Village at Fairview.
  • Teenagers between 12-17yrs pay third person sharing rate – R650.00.
  • Child minders are available at Fairview at R85.00 per hour (Guest will be charged on account).
  • Pets – are not allowed on the premises.

Green fees: R100.00 per adult / R50.00 per child (under 18)

Hiring of golf cart: 2-seater R160.00, 4-seater R180.00 per round
