On-Site Activities

Birding

Bird life at Fairview and its surroundings is prolific due to the river frontage and huge trees on the property, as well as natural fruits borne by indigenous trees and shrubs and the adjacent fruit orchids.

Guided birding trails with an official monitor can be arranged.

Fishing

With 3km of river frontage, the Letaba River sets the perfect environment for the keen angler who enjoys casting their line in the quiet, safe and sound surroundings offered at the Fairview Hotel.

In 2005, large-scale Yellow fish were re-introduced in this part of the Letaba River, and guests are welcome to try their luck, but only with fly fishing equipment. Fishing is strictly on a catch-and-release basis.

Please arrange a day permit at reception. A day fee of R 50.00 applies

Golf

Fairview Par-3 Golf Course is renowned for its challenging yet enjoyable layout. The eighteen-hole course, with holes ranging from 70 to 220 meters, demands precision and strategy. Its design integrates natural elements such as rolling hills, water features, and indigenous trees, creating a visually stunning and technically demanding environment. This unique layout provides a golfing experience unlike any other in the region.

Swimming

The resort’s guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in one of two inviting pools, exclusively available for in-house guests. Whether you prefer the serene ambience of Fairview Hotel’s pool or the sophisticated charm of the pool at The Village, both locations offer the perfect setting for relaxation and leisure. Dive in, unwind, and soak up the tranquil atmosphere of these exceptional resort amenities.
